Inspired by antique and vintage delft floral bricks, these are some of my favorite forms to make and use. My bricks begin as creamy porcelain slabs, cut with a paper pattern as one might expect from a dressmaker’s shop. They are “sewn” together, given a top and feet, pierced, then decorated. It is a labor intensive process that takes several weeks from start to finish. Bricks are approximately 5.5” wide x 3.5” tall or 3.5” wide by 5.5” tall. Please allow some variation as these are entirely made by hand.
